In 1915, the tradition of lighting the Uxbridge Town Common was established and then expanded in 1997 by the Uxbridge First Holiday Night Committee and the Uxbridge Firefighters Association into an annual town holiday tradition.
Our committee thrives with the support of all members and the community. Beyond the borders of Uxbridge, we promote leadership within the community eleven months every year. Uxbridge First Night begins the process in February by gathering every fourth Thursday of every month. The main purpose of First Holiday Night is fundraising, and the goal this year is to raise $17,000 for our Celebration which will be on December 3, 2011. The Uxbridge First Holiday Night Committee
